Overview
Psi Games is designed for private, thoughtful play. We collect only the information needed to provide the service, protect its integrity, understand whether it works well, and support you. We do not sell personal information or use private game content to target advertising. Before using an advertising identifier to track activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising measurement, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
The website today
The website does not offer accounts, payments, advertising, or analytics cookies. Like most hosted websites, its infrastructure may temporarily process basic request information such as an IP address, browser headers, requested page, and timestamp to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. If you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to include.
The app
The app processes:
- Account information: an anonymous installation or account identifier and, if you choose to link an account, your email address and sign-in provider identifier.
- Game and participation records: choices, confidence, outcomes, timestamps, protocol versions, streak activity, and the technical records needed to preserve canonical game integrity.
- Private content: Sense (Remote Viewing) sketch images that you submit, optional post-session notes from any game, plus private Signal participation or relationship data. Submitted sketches and saved notes are stored with your account so you can recover them, review them with feedback, use cross-device history, export them, and delete eligible content. Raw content is not sent to third-party product analytics or advertising providers.
- Purchases: subscription product, transaction, and entitlement status supplied by Apple and our subscription provider. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Diagnostics and product activity: app version, build, device family, operating-system version, coarse locale or region, bounded onboarding, game-journey, and in-game help actions, completion and abandonment signals, social-invitation funnel boundaries, subscription funnel boundaries, bounded reliability outcomes, crashes, hangs, performance diagnostics, and app-integrity evidence such as an App Attest public-key identifier, Apple attestation receipt, build validation category, and coarse assertion outcome. First-party telemetry uses opaque actor, installation, process-session, batch, and event identifiers for delivery, deduplication, support, and analysis. Analytics and diagnostics do not receive raw notes, sketches, target assets, raw Nudge (Micro-PK) streams, full trial-by-trial choices, invitation codes, friend identity, or private Signal relationships.
- Attribution information: privacy-preserving Apple attribution information, AppsFlyer's installation identifier, the Apple identifier for the app vendor (IDFV), install or campaign source, and a small allowlist of acquisition and subscription-funnel events. The app presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt after you finish onboarding and reach the home screen. If you completed onboarding in an earlier app version that did not request this permission, the prompt may instead appear on the first stable home screen after upgrading. IDFA is made available to AppsFlyer and RevenueCat only after you authorize tracking. Declining does not limit app functionality.
How information is used
We use information to operate and secure Psi Games, assign and preserve official game records, show your history and results, provide delayed reveals and notifications you request, restore purchases, answer support requests, fix errors, and improve the product. If we offer model-assisted Sense analysis, we will explain the processing and applicable choices before using private impressions for that feature. Such analysis will not replace the recorded game result. We do not use a single session to claim that you have a psychic ability, and we do not use your information for consequential decisions about you.
Private content is not public and is not shared with another player unless a game explicitly says so. It is cloud-backed, not end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to us. Access by authorized personnel is restricted to legitimate operational purposes such as support, security, service integrity, incident response, and maintaining the feature.
Service providers
We use the following providers for the current website and production app configuration:
- Supabase: authentication, hosted Postgres database, server functions, operational logs, and first-party product telemetry. Development and production projects are isolated.
- Cloudflare: content delivery and separate private object-storage boundaries for submitted user content, protocol artifacts, and operational evidence.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple where selected, StoreKit purchases and subscriptions, push-notification delivery, App Store reporting, and privacy-preserving Apple Ads attribution.
- Google: Google account sign-in where selected. Psi Games receives the provider identity information needed to create or access the linked account.
- RevenueCat: products, purchases, trials, subscriptions, entitlement status, restoration, and server-verified subscription lifecycle events. RevenueCat receives a stable opaque Psi Games user identifier and may receive IDFV, AppsFlyer's ID, and Apple Ads attribution information so subscription outcomes can be attributed without receiving private game content. After you authorize tracking through Apple, RevenueCat may also receive IDFA for subscription attribution.
- AppsFlyer: production-app install attribution and a bounded event projection covering onboarding completion, first game and daily-set completion, account creation, paywall and checkout, subscription activation, and invitation creation. RevenueCat may forward server-verified trial, renewal, cancellation, expiration, billing, and subscription events. AppsFlyer may produce aggregate attribution postbacks for Apple and configured advertising partners such as Meta. We use Meta Aggregate Event Measurement, Advanced Data Sharing, and modeled view-through attribution for campaign measurement. AppsFlyer's Aggregated Advanced Privacy setting limits partner delivery for people without ATT authorization to aggregated campaign data and removes user- and device-level identifiers. Data AppsFlyer processes for this purpose may include an IP address, IDFV, an anonymous attribution identifier when available, user agent, and the mapped event and, after ATT authorization, IDFA. Authorized user- or device-level attribution may be shared with configured advertising partners for campaign measurement and optimization. We do not provide private game content, notes, sketches, targets, friend identity, or private Signal relationships.
- Sentry: crash, hang, session-health, and MetricKit diagnostics. Psi Games disables Sentry user identity, request capture, screenshots, view hierarchy, session replay, network tracing, interaction tracing, logs, and performance traces. A network-derived coarse country or region may still be processed by Sentry infrastructure.
- Vercel and email-delivery providers: website hosting, basic request processing, authentication email, and support email.
Providers process information to perform these services and may apply their own legally required or platform-specific retention and availability periods. We do not send private impressions to a general-purpose model or use them for model training without a separate, explicit agreement and in-context disclosure.
Retention and deletion
Website request logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security and operations. Support email is kept while needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate support record. Raw first-party game, product-telemetry, operational, delivery, security, and audit records currently have no scheduled automatic deletion during our initial launch period. Service providers may apply their own platform availability limits; for example, managed logs, backups, crash events, and attribution reports may remain available for less time than records in our live first-party database. We review this launch-stage posture regularly and will publish a later retention schedule before enabling first-party time-based deletion. User-requested deletion, legal obligations, security-sensitive token or invitation expiry, and protocol deadlines remain separate.
The app provides an in-app way to initiate account deletion from Me → Settings → Delete account. Instructions are also available on our account deletion page. You may also contact privacy@psigames.app. We will delete or de-identify eligible user-linked information and send applicable requests to providers, subject to limited records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, protocol integrity, or legal obligations. Where applicable, this includes submitting a user-related deletion request to AppsFlyer. Deleting Psi Games does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple.
Your choices
You can play without linking a personal account, decline optional notifications, and manage Apple permissions in iOS Settings. First-party operational product telemetry is part of the service and does not have a separate opt-out toggle; the in-app Delete Data flow can delete eligible telemetry for the current authenticated actor and installation. You may ask to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information, including stored Sense impression content, by emailing privacy@psigames.app.
Psi Games uses aggregated, identifier-restricted attribution for people who deny or cannot authorize tracking and may accept modeled view-through attribution from Meta through AppsFlyer. The native Apple tracking request appears after onboarding and account choice, once the home screen is active. You may decline without losing app functionality and can later change the permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. Turning tracking off stops future IDFA-based processing by the app but does not itself erase information a provider previously processed. To request deletion of eligible provider records, use the in-app deletion flow or contact privacy@psigames.app. Aggregate attribution that does not require ATT may continue. Game results, notes, sketches, targets, and private Signal relationships are not used to build advertising audiences.
Children
Psi Games is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in a manner prohibited by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.
Security and changes
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy as the product changes; the revised version will show a new effective date.
